Jeannette M. Klee-Waring, 84, of 8942 Upper St., Rushford passed away Saturday, January 17, 2015 at Houghton Nursing Care Center following a lengthy illness. Born December 1, 1931 in Buffalo, she was the daughter of Raymond J. and Clara L. Maltbie Waring Sr. She was married to Edward G. Klee who predeceased her on May 7, 1993.
Jeannette grew up in Derby and was a graduate of Angola High School. After her graduation, she was employed as a bookkeeper for many years at Skyway Auto Parts Co. in Buffalo.
She enjoyed walking and traveling. Also she was an avid animal lover.
She was a very active member of St. Marks Catholic Church in Rushford.
Surviving are three brothers, Raymond J. (Marilyn) Waring Jr of Rochester, Richard J. Waring of Auburn, Indiana, and
Thomas H. (Catherine) Waring of Derby, NY; a sister, Ellen (Nelson) Striebich of Orchard Park; and several nieces and nephews.
Jeannette was predeceased by a sister-in-law, Margaret Waring; and a special friend, Norman Maurer of Eggertsville, NY.
There will be no visitations. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday January 20, 2015 at St. Patrick's Church in Belfast at 11:00 am.. The Rev. Dennis Mancuso, Pastor will be celebrant and burial will be in holy Cross Cemetery, Belfast. Memorials may be made to A SPCA of the donor's choice. Arrangements are under the direction of the Treusdell Funeral Home, Belfast.
