John Paul Murphy, 40, of 106 West Fourth St., passed away June 7, 2022 at The Research and Medical Building in Kansas, MO following a brief illness. Born March 19, 1982,
he was the son of John Murphy Sr. and Pearl Warner Murphy. On 9-26-08 in Tampa, FL, he was married to Ashley Collins, who survives.
He attended Bolivar Central School and received his GED from Clarington, PA. John had been employed at Arrow -mart in Friendship and from there went to Lydall Corp. in NC.
Other firms he was employed at in FL and MO.
John loved playing all kinds of music on records he had. He enjoyed camping, building bon fires, hunting and fishing and telling jokes.
He was a member of the Bolivar-Richburg fire Dept.
Surviving are his wife, Ashley of Tampa, FL; 6 brothers, Shawn (Morgan) Murphy of Addison, NY, Mark Murphy of Allegany, Steven Murphy of Wellsville, Keith Baker of Jamestown, Raymond Cuadrado of Philadelphia and Ryan Cuadrado of Philadelphia; 4 sisters, Holly (Robert) Brown of Salamanca, April Murphy of Wellsville, Christine Murphy of Elmira and Mary (Thomas) Anderson of Jamestown;
and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Treusdell Funeral Home in Friendship 2-4 and 7-9 pm on Friday June 24, 2022 where funeral and committal services will be held Saturday, June 25, 2022 at 3:00 pm in the Funeral Home.
