Laura P. Warner, 56, of 6494 Co Rd. 17, Belfast, passed away Saturday, March 19, 2016, following a lengthy illness. Born February 20, 1960 in Cuba, she was the daughter of Richard J. and Virginia E. Keeler VanDusen. On August 3, 1991 in Belfast, she married David T. Warner, who survives.
Laura had grown up in Belfast and was a graduate of Belfast Central School, class of 1978. After graduation she tended bar in the Belfast American Legion, post 1504 for a short period of time. From 1988 to 1990 she was a secretary at the East Side Garage in Belmont. Later she was a waitress at the Belvidere Hotel for a year. She then became a secretary at C.T. Appliances in Wellsville from 1997 to 2003.
She enjoyed gardening, growing flowers, traveling, bird watching and horseback riding.
Also she was a Nascar enthusiast. But most of all she loved her family and spending time with them.
She was a member of the Belfast Legion Post 1504 Auxiliary.
Surviving in addition to her husband David are a daughter, Tori A. Warner of Buffalo; a brother, Richard VanDusen of Texas; a sister, Diane (Terry) Fisher of Belfast; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Treusdell Funeral Home, Belfast from 2-4 pm on Wednesday March 23, 2016 at which time (4pm) funeral services will be held. The Rev. Robert Mackmer, Pastor of the Belfast Free Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery Friendship, NY.
