Linda S. L. Olejniczak

Linda S. L. Olejniczak, 62, of 1609 Rt 417, Greenwood, passed away Thursday January 5, 2017, at her home, following a lengthy illness. Born July 4, 1954 in Cuba, NY, she was the daughter of Theodore and Ida L. Lee Cocco. On July 4, 1971 in Alabama, she married Anthony A. Olejniczak, who survives.

Linda grew up in Angelica and had attended the Angelica Central School. She picked and sold blueberries at a roadside stand for her Father in Maine. For several years she was security guard for Burns Security in Olean. For the next many years she raised her loving family.

She was an avid reader, watched TV especially medical shows and sewing. Her great love was spending time with her family her dog, Jackson and parrot Marcus.

Surviving besides her husband Anthony of Wellsville are four daughters, Donna L. Marble of Waldoboro, Maine, Luann J. Wahl of Waldoboro, Maine, Candy (Brian) Barry of Greenwood,NY, and Jamie D. (Ronald) Jock of Dunkirk, NY; ten grandchildren and three great grandchildren; three brothers, Theodore Cocco of Waldoboro, Maine, Ed (Angie) Snyder of Clayton, Wisconsin, and Mark Snyder of Conroe, TX; a brother in law, Richard Chind; four sisters, Donna (Timothy) Sherwood of Friendship, Patricia A. Dibert of Waldoboro, Maine, Tina Sauvue of Damariscotta, Maine; and Renee R. Cocco of Waldoboro, Maine; and several nieces and nephews.

Linda was predeceased by her parents, Theodore and Ida Cocco, a granddaughter, Miranda Olejniczak and a sister, Sara Chind.

Friends may call at the Treusdell Funeral Home, Friendship from 2-4 pm on Tuesday, January 10, 2017. Immediately following viewing, funeral services will be held. Richard Chind of Friendship will officiate and burial will be in the Until the Day Dawn Cemetery, Angelica. Memorials may be made to the Greenwood Fire Dept.
