Robert J. "Bob" Freeman, 62, of 7229 North Branch Rd. passed away unexpectedly at his home on Wednesday, November 5, 2014. Born June 24, 1952 in Port Allegany, PA, he was the son of Frelon A. and Charlotte Conklin Freeman.
Bob had grown up in Friendship and was a graduate of Friendship Central School Class of 1970. All of his adult life was spent working the family farm and for over 30 years he worked at Friendship Dairies.
He enjoyed farming, landscaping and had a great love for animals. Most of all he loved his family and being with them.
Surviving are a brother, David A. (Deborah) Freeman of Friendship; three nephews, DJ (Michelle Allen) Freeman of West Clarksville,
Shawn (Sheila) Freeman of Cuba, and Chris (Darci Dougherty) Freeman of Jamestown.
Bob was predeceased by his parents.
There will be no visitations. Private graveside services will be held in the Maple Grove Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Memorials may be made to the Allegany Co. SPCA, 1374 State Rd. 19 South, Wellsville, NY 14895 Arrangements are under the direction of the Treusdell Funeral Home, Friendship.
