Thomas R. "Tom" Comstock, 49, passed away Monday, December 22, 2014. following a lengthy illness. Born March 22, 1965 in Cuba, NY, he was the son of Lewis W. and Ruth M. Fenton Comstock.
Tom had grown up in the Belfast area and had attended Belfast Central School where he later received his GED He was employed for several years at Springville Concrete, where he was a welder and later at Jaylor Trucking in Belfast where he was a diesel mechanic.
Tom loved mechanical things and could fix most anything. He enjoyed music, especially Rock. Most of all he loved his family and being with them.
Surviving are his fiancée, Genny Cox of Belfast; a son, Joseph Comstock of Belfast; a daughter, Angel Lipincott of Caneadea; three brothers, William L. Comstock, Donald L. (Sheri) Comstock, and James J. Comstock all of Belfast; two sisters, Peg A.(Kim) Barton, and Jeanne E Comstock both of Belfast;
seven nephews, Christopher, Justin, James Ryan, Jay, Dale and Dean; four nieces, Renee, Lynnsay, Audra and Holly; a great nephew and four great nieces.
Friends may call at the Treusdell Funeral Home, Belfast 11:00 to 1:00 pm Tuesday, Dec 30, 2014 The Funeral will be held immediately following at 1:00 pm. Deacon Joseph Pasquello of Fillmore will officiate and burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Belfast. Memorials may be made to Roswell Park Institute Elm and Carlton Streets Buffalo, NY 14263 or the Belfast Fire Dept.
